Heru Desanto, first contacted me in February 2007 asking about photography trip to Belitung. I was not really aware about him, until I found that he is one of the most successful photographer at Fotografer.Net. I called him a successful photographer, because most of his photo presented in Fotografer.net successfully selected as editor's favorite choice. It is not easy to win such criteria among thousands of photo loaded in Fotografer.net daily.
Heru was very excited to visit Belitung, but his trip always delayed due to bad weather condition in early year 2007. He was then finally visited Belitung in March 2007 and he found that the weather still not friendly to him. But, let's take a look his pictures, taken in bad weather. Can you imagine if he really getting a chance to shot in a nice weather ?

Heru shows strong talent in Infrared Photography. He also has talent in finding a moment and
angle to frame the unique shot. He produces unique image of Belitung that has never been produced
by other photographer. These photos ware not taken from ordinary places likes Tanjung Tinggi or
Tanjung Kelayang, instead he visited Eastern part of Belitung likes, Manggar, Gantung and Tanjung
Kelumpang.

@randi: benar, lokasi ini terletak di pulau Pandan di daerah Tanjung Kelumpang di Belitung Timur bagian Selatan, ayo ke Belitung dijamin gak nyesal.

Saya ikut tur 18-20 July 09 ini bersama istri, dan akhirnya extend krn sangat enjoy dg objek2nya & pelayanan tur guide-nya (Pak Hendro thanks a lot for your kindness...,Pak Kusuma makasih banyak servisnya..).
Selama trip seru bgt, ketemu dg teman2 baru..banyak cerita yg sangat berkesan,apalagi selama extend, pesta durian euy!!! sempet juga ke galeri KUKM & long trip to BelTim n nyoba kopi akiong (bener yak namanya? :D )
