Jeffry Surianto, the first time we met as a tour participant on one of the private Photography trips that we conducted in October 2009. The special thing was that the group led by Jeffry was from the Gallery Photography Indonesia (GPI) community which had more than 10,000 fans on Facebook. Jeffry is the main initiator of every GPI photography hunting activity to Belitung.
As usual the photography hunting program runs smoothly, although as usual the Belitung weather is often shy when visited by photographers, but the excitement is still felt by the GPI group. Good photos of course can still be produced and collected by Jeffry and his GPI colleagues. But the weather still intrigued the hunting participants, and made some participants want to come back again. Photographing Belitung with a background of blue sky, white clouds and the color of the sea that follows the blue of the sky, as well as a combination of reddish clouds at sunset and sunrise is the dream of photographers while in Belitung.
The curiosity experienced by Jeffry was even greater. Not just wanting to come back, but getting more curious to explore the potential of photography in Belitung even inviting even more colleagues to join and carry out the next few photography trips. Here is the article we received from Jeffry:
"Belitung Your Enchantment will not End in Eating Time The first time I set foot on the island of Belitung was very warm welcome from Belitungisland.com colleagues who have picked up at HAS Airport. Hanandjoedin. All doubts (don't - don't tour operators in Belitung will treat us as I wish) in my heart vanished, I enjoyed a hospitality that I rarely met in other places, while enjoying the beauty of the amazing nature of Belitung. That was the first time our friendship and collaboration between Gallery Photography Indonesia and Belitung Island.com was so close that currently.
I believe and believe that in the future Belitung will become the number two tourist destination in Indonesia after Bali and hopefully this will be realized well. Can not be described with the words of the beauty of this island, the culture and hospitality of its inhabitants, that also makes me want to come and come again to visit the exotic island of Bellitung in our beloved country ".
Jeffry's belief in placing Belitung only one level below Bali is indeed no joke. The photos produced make many people agree that the potential is you and deserves to be disseminated. We were warmly welcomed when Jeffry agreed to show off his photos at Belitungisland.COM, which were made with mature photography skills.
Thanks to Jeffry's trust in our team who have helped carry out several GPI Photography trips in Belitung, we express our deepest gratitude. All photographs are copyright Jeffry Surianto. Reply@Rudi: that's right, it's a shame that many other Belitong people are only proud, but are not aware that cleanliness and authenticity of the beach must always be maintained, and not used for the benefit of a handful of people such as the Tanjung Tinggi pemaran during Eid holiday
