Unless you have experience diving in this area, we strongly recommend that you use a dive guide. The ocean currents in Belitung may not be predictable so it's good if you dive accompanied by someone experienced. We suggest you stop at Lengkuas Island for lunch. The scenery on this island is very beautiful with a large arrangement of granite rock along the coast. We strongly recommend you to climb 300 steps to the top of the lighthouse, to see the view of the island of Belitung from the top of the lighthouse. Do not forget to bring a camera so you can capture this very beautiful view. When you stop at Tukong Island, please walk along this U-shaped island to explore the uniqueness of the granite. The island is uninhabited so there are no facilities available like those on other islands. We also recommend you stop at Kepayang Island. This island is the largest island in this region. Here you can visit sea turtle conservation or relax in this modest coffee shop on the island.

ReplyGreat time Had a few mishaps but it was all part of the experience and we really enjoyed it. Both Lilly and Doni were excellent, very friendly and helpful at all times. And Santika Room is better than Marriott. Bigger more and more food just lacking English abit but still better than Marriott. Marriott is more suitable for western people as they can speak english better and have more generic western food for breakfast. Rooms much much smaller Hope to see you again soon
