There are two versions that make this beach called Batu Bedil Beach. The first version states that the name of this rifle stone is because there is the sound of a gun or cannon thumping that visitors can hear. The sound of the cannon (rifle) itself appears from the beach waves crashing into two large granite holes. Besides that, the sound of thumping on this beach also appeared from several granite stones when it was hit. The second version states that the name rock bedil is because this beach has 3 parallel rock clusters that form a formation similar to a cannon (rifle) arrangement. Interestingly, from the three rock clusters that make up the cannon formation, between these rocks are separated by three different things. The first and second rock formations are separated by white sand, while the second and third rock formations are separated by mangrove trees. Among the three existing bridges, the local community then made a simple bridge to connect.
Apart from white sand and clear water, such as the beaches in West Belitung, Batu Bedil Beach has the characteristics of large granite rocks. This beach itself has a view of the Pulau Limau Seri in front of it. The Palau Limau Seri can be visited by crossing it via a sand bridge. This beach also provides snorkeling spots that are not far from the shoreline. Another uniqueness of Batu Bedil Beach is the heart-shaped granite stone. The heart-shaped stone which is then called the love stone at Batu Bedil Beach has a diameter of one meter. You can find this love stone on the east coast of Batu Bedil Beach. Although it is still a mystery, this love stone is also a special attraction for visitors to Batu Bedil Beach.

Unfortunately, this beautiful beach is not supported by adequate facilities. So for those of you who want to come here, it is advisable to bring your own supplies, equipment and food and drink supplies from your home or place of departure.

Batu Bedil Beach is located in Sungai Padang Village, Sijuk District, Belitung Regency. To reach the beach location, you have to go through an unpaved road. The road will be more difficult to pass during the rainy season. This is because during the rainy season, the road becomes muddy. When the road is in muddy conditions, it is recommended that you use an offroad car so you can pass it well.

  This beach is still quiet and the access is quite far, but the atmosphere is still original. There are some unique things like the story of poisonous wells, the sound of guns and there are several small islands around it.
