Gusong Bugis Belitung

Gusong Bugis is the name of a beach located across the river Cerucuk that passes through the city of Tanjung Pandan. This beach is a beach that is included in HKm (Community Forest) where the surrounding community manages this place as a tourist attraction. Because of its proximity to the city, this beach is pretty much visited by the people of Tanjungpandan.

Gusong Bugis can be reached by car or motorcycle from the city of Tanjung Pandan. It only takes less than 20 minutes for you to arrive at this location. From the city of Tanjung Pandan you take the South through the village of Pilang to the port of Tanjung Batu. You will find the road to Gusong Bugis after going through the Pilang bridge which crosses the long Cerucuk river. Road conditions are good and paved, except for the last 1km before the Gusong Bugis beach, which at the time of this article was written not on the asphalt.
The government plans to allocate Gusong Bugis as a means of developing the Marina for yachts in the future. On this beach there is a bay that is not choppy with beautiful islands around it.

There are many interesting attractions in this place. Pangunjung will be treated to views of the ponds among the mangrove trees. From the parking lot you will find a pavilion built by the local village government. From this place you will tread a wooden bridge over the river canal. Then you will walk along a path between sea pine trees and ponds that were used as ponds. To get to the beach, travel on foot for a distance of about 500m.
At the end of the road you will find a fairly wide beach area. About 100m from the beach there are many simple restaurants managed by the surrounding community. This restaurant serves Belitung specialties, drinks including fresh young coconut. The location of the restaurant under the pine trees makes the atmosphere memorable.

The facilities available at this place are still very limited, so you must bring enough equipment to relax in this place. At the time this article was written public toilets were also not yet available, except in simple restaurants around the beach.
Adequate facilities are available in the area of the campsite which is still included in this Bugis Gusong area. There is a hall building and toilet facilities in this place. It's just that, facilities may only be used when there are campsites.

  From the video, this island is really cool, I think, like Phiphi island in Phuket. The stones are also unique there are perched but not falling. If you go to Belitung again, you will definitely go to this island.

  Gusong Bugis Beach is really suitable for seeing the sunset, because the Gusong Bugis Coast line is leaning more west than Tanjungpendam so when we see the sunset it feels so close and amazing.
