If you are looking for a combination of the beauty of God's creation with artistic landscape photo art, you are now on the right page. The contributing photographer this time is Lindung Soemarhadi, who once joined one of our Photographer tour packages in 2009. His persistence in capturing different angles of the beauty of the Belitung landscape and creative arrangements makes Lindung's photos more meaningful. Some human interest objects were also captured by the camera impressively.
Lindung is not only a talented photographer, he is also a narrative writer. This is the first photo gallery in BelitungIsland.COM, where visitors can read the narration on each photo to find out information about the photo.
The narration tells the technique of photography and also the story of his photographic journey in Belitung, although he has to struggle with unfavorable weather where the sky is gray due to the rainy season. However, that did not make Lindung stop producing impressive photos. One of Lindung's comments as written in one of the photo narratives is "Babel (Bangka Belitung) has positioned itself as one of the areas with the best natural beauty in Indonesia, and has become one of the 'Heaven' for Landscape Photographers. Challenging moments, after all, it is to perpetuate the best situation at the right time too, even if you have to wait from sunrise to sunset. "
Lindung Soemarhadi has hundreds of other photographs, not only about Belitung but from various parts of the world. He displays his photos on Flickr with the name Asian Value. He is a photographer with the Pro category on Flickr. As stated earlier he always took the time to make a narration of each photo displayed that allows visitors to enjoy the photos more deeply. Lindung Soemarhadi is an architect, born in Surabaya, and began to pursue photography since 1993.
From BelitungIsland.COM, we thank Lindung for dedicating her photos to be displayed on our website. By displaying the photos, we hope that visitors get new ideas to explore photography hunting points further in Belitung, and further make Belitung as the main photo hunting destination in Indonesia.
All photos are copyrighted by Lindung Soemarhadi, duplications in any form and for any purpose are not permitted except with written permission from the photographer. Lindung Soemarhadi was a photo contributor at BelitungIsland.COM to support the Belitung community in developing the tourism industry, specifically to transform from the tin-producing islands of kaolin, quartz, etc. that have damaged nature in several places on the Belitung mainland in the past, to become a tourism-based economy environmentally friendly.

ReplyThese large red sea stars are found around Sand Island near Babi Island. Usually the boat stops at Pasir island on its way to or from Lengkuas island. Sand Island will only appear to surface if the water is receding. If the sea water is tide, the sand island will not be seen.
