First of all, let me just say this holiday has been one of THE best ones EVER! Our tour guide (and now friend), Ipung, is an amazing person - intelligent, caring and very punctual! The program is flexible and at an incredibly relaxed pace, there is no rush. You will not be rushed from one location to another. I especially enjoyed my long nap at their private beach at Kampong Dedaun, we literally had the whole beach to ourselves with all the facilities (traditional snacks, mineral water, kayaks, beach chairs), it was great! Also, the food is SO unbelievably tasty! Ask anyone in the area what their traditional food is, and they will say seafood and they are not kidding- it is SO fresh and SO scrumptious! The beaches are clean and the water is to die for! The place is still pretty untouched by the craze of tourism (unlike Bali) so its really up our alley. If you're looking for a good tour guide run by an amazing family, your search stops here- contact Ipung and his team and you will have the best holiday!

P.S. We're already planning a fishing trip to Belitung and you bet Ipunk will be takin' us! :)
